Hamptons Renovation – Gold Coast

Renovation - Residential

Hope Island

About The Project

This 1980’s large home had gone through some previous renovation, however the living areas were poorly located being tucked away on the lower stepped south facing level. The general aesthetics of the dwelling were dated and the layout confusing, leaving some wasted space & dead zones.

Hinterland Drafting assisted these clients to transform the previously oversized garage used as a “man cave” into the main living area, housing an open plan kitchen, dining and family area.  The raked ceilings and large windows now capture that much needed and warm winters sun utilizing the properties northern aspect. A large open hallway connects the areas and also doubled as sun roof/study nook. The previous lower floor kitchen was transformed into a beautiful private guest bedroom with WIR & ensuite. The rest of the house was updated and layout improved to suite and complement the clients style of architecture.

The pool was removed/relocated to the northern side of the property again maximizing the northern aspect and increasing the usable yard space that now surrounds the property.

A very impressive renovation, that has completely transformed this once dated, cold and depressing property into a now warm, spacious entertaining home that just oozes those summer holiday vibes.
